Filter Press Machine feed pressure; in the actual production process, the filtration pressure is generally provided by the feed pump (the proportion of combined feed from the on-site pump and air compressor is very small and will not be discussed here). Therefore, an extremely important factor affecting the filtration speed is the feed pressure of the feed pump. The feed pressure directly affects the working conditions of the Filter Presses, and the separation effect of the Filter press is also very much related to the Flter Press . In actual use, it is found that in the process of Filter Presse dewatering, most of the water can be discharged by reducing the porosity of the filter cake through hydrostatic pressure, but the dewatering effect is not ideal and can only be achieved by increasing the hydrostatic pressure. The possible reason for this is that as the pressure increases, the porosity of the filter cake gradually decreases and the pore saturation of the filter cake gradually decreases.
However, when the saturation of the filter cake is close to the residual saturation, the moisture of the filter cake basically does not decrease. Analysis of the microstructure of the filter cake shows that at this point the particles form an arch bridge structure and the moisture contained in this structure is not only difficult to discharge through the hydrostatic pressure provided by the conventional feed pump, but can also lead to filter press equipment wear and failure.
