After the pile type sludge Filter press has been pressed, it is ready for feeding operation. Turn on the feed pump and slowly open the feed valve, the feed pressure gradually rises to normal pressure. After filtering for a period of time, the amount of liquid discharged from the liquid outlet hole of the Plate And Frame Filter Press gradually decreases. At this point, it indicates that the Filter residue in the filter chamber is gradually filling. When no liquid comes out of the outlet hole or only a small amount of liquid, it proves that the sludge in the filter chamber has been completely filled and formed into a filter cake.
The pile type sludge filter press consists of a group of filtration chambers with alternating filter plates and filter frames. The filter plates have a groove on their surface with a protruding part to support the filter cloth. The filter frames and filter plates have a through-hole in the corner and when assembled form a complete channel for passing the suspension, washing water and leading the filtrate.
