Low slurry feed or blockage and deformation of the filter plate of the filter press can lead to unformed and uneven filter cake. Traditional plate and frame Filter Presses use cylindrical filter plates, which are prone to such problems after a long period of use. The solution to this problem is to increase the sludge feed, clean or replace the filter cloth, clean the drainage holes, increase the pressure of the sludge feed pump, start at low pressure and start continuously.
